[glow=red,2,300]Alex's how to: Get good grades at school guide![/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]Intro[/glow]
This is the one subject I can seriously type about for you guys for hours but today I think I'll make this short and sweet. Doing well at school isn't just about being the cleverest or the best. It's about a whole different category of things, to make your school life succesful I've made a guide for you guys and gals out there who are struggling.
[glow=red,2,300]Staying alive[/glow]
Surviving school is very complex and agitating... but if you tackle it in the right areas it might just pay off right at the end. From your early stages to your late teens a lot of people find concentrating hard, whether you're an innocent school pupil or a class joker this guide goes out to everyone. I started most of my school days off by getting up early. Having a shower and having a nice breakfast, feeling good in the morning is what it's about before you go to school. If you have the right mindset everything may just work out for you throughout the morning, midday and afternoon. I personally like to keep myself extremely organised, which means no bits of scrap paper in the bottom of your bag. No scrunching up your letters and throwing them into the bin. I have two reletivaly small folers in my bag. One for homework, the other for schoolbooks and projects. I get a new bag every year (I particuarly like the vans off the wall bags) so I can have a clear out and be organised. When I set foot back at school after the holidays I try to set a real impression on my friends. The teachers and just your average school people, because first impressions is everything in this school survival guide. If a teacher doesn't like you at the start of the term, they will have that same mindset throughout the term and not like you for AGES. I always keep my head down in class, not attracting to much attention and yet not too little, I always have my pencil case out prepared with a small notepad as well to take down notes in lessons. I always try to use my best handwriting so it'll get better for later life and I can write nice and clean job applications. When I study at home I give myself practice tests. If I was learning about cell production or algebra I would always get someone to give me a quiz just to check I'm up to date with all the work I've done at school. Of course have a life as well, don't spend "too" much time revising or you'll have no common sense or no personallity. I was always try and keep my grammar clean when I write online and on forums so I get into a habit of doing that and I don't get into a slang mode before a test or an exam. When test days come, make sure you know your stuff. Study HARD. Whatever you do don't stay up all night revising no the last day before the test. Do 2-3 hours leading up to it each day. Find things to do like play guitar in the mean time to take your thoughts off it. Make sure you're prepared withat least 2 pencils, 2 pens, a sharpener, a rubber and a ruler. You may need a scientific calculator if necessary. I'm currently doing well at school myself and I don't want to slack and get worse. Be good girls and boys for me now.
If this guide has helped I'd like you to exalt me and show your respect : )
